Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for designing automated production test platforms for use in production. Responsibilities will include development of test software and hardware needed to automate production test systems. The Test Engineer will respond to production test problems by working with production technicians/testers, providing guidance and training for production test technicians. Identify and implement process improvements that positively impact first pass yield, cost, cycle time, and throughput. The Test Engineer will also be involved in working with customers to help determine test requirements for new and existing products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering(BSEE) or Computer Engineering(BSCE).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the area of automated manufacturing test development
- Proven track record developing digital and RF based test sets.
- Strong programming skills required, preferably in C#(.NET), with familiarity of LabView/LabWindows and SQL a plus.
- Must understand how to operate and communicate (GPIB/USB) with typical lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, counter/timer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, DMM, etc).
- Strong troubleshooting skills of analog, digital, and RF circuitry from the system level down to the component level.
- Competent RF experience desired.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to professionally be able to work in a team environment.
- Understanding of In-Circuit Test(ICT) and JTAG/Boundary Scan techniques is desirable.
